We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager in Accounting to join our leadership team and drive financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. The Senior Manager – Accounting will oversee the company’s accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer/Corporate Controller. This role will lead a team of accounting professionals, manage the monthly close process, and provide financial insights to support executive decision‑making. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the corporate accounting team, providing mentorship and professional development. Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls. Collaborate with team members to standardize workpapers, ensure uniform practices and clear documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements for a multinational company with subsidiaries in the US, Canada, and India. Partner with FP&A and external tax providers to align accounting with broader financial strategies. Manage external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes. Implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets. Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions (e.g., acquisitions, revenue recognition, leases). Partner with finance, operations, HR, and business units to align accounting practices with organizational goals. Support executive leadership with financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks. Proven track record of managing accounting teams in mid‑to‑large organizations. Experience with ERP systems. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
