Required Skills & Experience: Currently enrolled in high school or equivalent. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motions. Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded, with a willingness to learn and adhere to safety procedures. Available to work 5-10 hours per week, with flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends based on business needs.

Job Description: Electric Vehicle Digital Design (EVDD) is responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities – such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling – to create ground-up breakthrough electric vehicles. The Lab Assistant is a vital part-time role supporting the day-to-day operations of our engineering labs and shop areas. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, ensuring our teams have the space and resources they need to innovate. What You'll Be Able To Do:

• Assist engineers and technicians directly with R&D development tasks, including basic test setup, component handling, and preparing lab workstations for experiments.
• Support the smooth operation of our labs and shop by moving materials, parts, and tools to and from workstations as directed, ensuring resources are where they need to be.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient workspace through tasks like labeling, stocking shelves, and ensuring shared equipment is returned and stored properly.
• Contribute to a safe and productive environment by performing routine housekeeping, such as sweeping, mopping, and tidying work areas, and restocking essential supplies like PPE and cleaning materials.
• Proactively identify and report any facility issues or hazards to your supervisor, contributing to continuous safety and operational excellence
