Gentry Service Group, located in Swannanoa, NC, is a customer-focused heating and air-conditioning company that was originally started in 1963. We employ highly skilled associates whose goal is to provide the best customer service to Asheville and the surrounding area.We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC New Construction Mechanic who has extensive experience. Our perfect candidate will have the skills to install a wide variety of commercial equipment. We offer the best pay and benefits. If you feel you're a "Top Installation Mechanic" at your current company and want more than what they can offer, come work for us!Primary Job Function: Install HVAC equipment, sheet metal products, and ductwork for commercial projects. These would include installations for package units, rooftop units, split systems, and commercial equipment.Pay Scale: Depending on experienceBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 15 Paid Vacation Days, 9 Paid Holidays, 401k with Company Match, tool account with 0% interest, access to 24/7 chaplain, faith-based organization with a high emphasis on the importance of family.Required Qualifications:3+ years of HVAC installation experience in commercial applicationsInstallation and modification of duct systems, piping systems, control wiring, and other HVAC-related components3+ years of sheet metal installation experience in commercial applicationsValid driver's license and insurable by company carrierBrazing CertificationsEPA Universal Refrigerant CertificationCandidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
