CT Technician Travel Contract CT Technologist

Position Overview Travel CT Tech – 13‑week assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled CT Tech with at least one year recent experience as a CT Technologist and a valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations. Responsibilities Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross‑sectional images of patients’ bodies for diagnostic purposes. Prepare patients for the procedure and position them with safety and image accuracy considerations. Ensure proper imaging protocols are followed and work closely with radiologists to obtain high‑quality images for accurate diagnosis. Maintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure while providing compassionate care throughout the imaging process. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality. Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities. Qualifications One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist. Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Physical abilities – remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lb.), push, pull, and bend. Technical/Motor skills – grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment. Mental requirements – cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure; work under close supervision occasionally and without assistance from other personnel.
