As a Security Officer Patrol with Badge Checks in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. This role offers the chance to combine customer service, communication, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal with agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor foot traffic, observe for suspicious behavior, and/or report maintenance, policy, or security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support access control and property protection efforts by monitoring designated areas, documenting observations, and/or communicating clearly with store personnel, visitors, and first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
