International Freight Forwarder located in Burlingame, California is seeking an Accounting Assistant. Our company provides logistics services for air, ocean, and domestic transportation.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Accounts Receivable processing
- Accounts Payable processing
- Journal entry input
- Bank reconciliations
- Review and input intra/inter-company settlements
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Basic understanding of debit and credit entries
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, including basic formulas and reconciliation work
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Accurate typing and 10-key skills
• Organized with ability to prioritize and multitask
• 1–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, including A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliation, preferred
• Prior logistics/transportation industry experience is a plus
Additional Information:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with company requirements
