While Holistic operates in states where marijuana is legalized or decriminalized, cannabis remains a controlled substance under federal regulations and is still illegal at the federal level. Because of this, Holistic Industries is currently unable to offer sponsorship for any nonimmigrant or immigrant visas until federal law changes. Additionally, candidates who are Lawful Permanent Residents (e.g., Green Card holders) are eligible for employment with Holistic Industries and are regularly hired here. However, working for a company involved in the cultivation and sale of a product that is illegal under federal law may impact an individual’s immigration status. For this reason, we strongly recommend that Lawful Permanent Residents consult with an immigration attorney before accepting an offer of employment to ensure they fully understand any potential implications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
