Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Waco, TX working in a skilled nursing facility. We seek a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location. This opportunity involves a travel assignment in a long-term care setting and requires adherence to facility policies and state licensure. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active Texas Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is required. Ability to provide documentation of clinical experience and references upon request. Client requirement: willingness to work 32 hours per week, 5 days per week (OT 32 hour guarantee). Preferred Qualifications Previous travel therapy experience preferred. Experience with geriatric populations and ADL training preferred. Experience with electronic medical records preferred. Assignment Details Shift pattern: 4x8. Work schedule: 5 days per week, 32 hours guaranteed. May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
