Position Overview The Assistant Executive Director at The Springs at Lake Oswego plays a key leadership role in supporting day-to-day community operations, staff development, and resident satisfaction. Working closely with the Executive Director, this position helps ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and a positive culture for residents and team members alike. This role is ideal for a collaborative, hands-on leader with experience in senior living or healthcare operations who is passionate about quality, service, and people. Key Responsibilities Support daily community operations and leadership initiatives Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Director Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff Conducts tours and meets with prospective residents in support of our sales team and our occupancy goals Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and team members Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Assist with budgeting, financial variance reporting, and operational oversight Support staff development, dining services, and resident engagement activities Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 3+ years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or related field Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Experience with staff development, operations, and compliance Proficient with standard computer applications (email, Word, Excel, etc.) Why The Springs Living?
