Material Handler

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will play an essential role in the shredding area, operating a forklift to manage and stage large rolls of pulp. Your tasks will include loading the machine for shredding, maintaining materials, and using an RF Scan gun for inventory. Expect to engage in some light cleaning and manual labor while spending a majority of your time on the forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport and stage materials
• Load shredding machines and maintain material flow off the line.
• Utilize an RF Scan gun for accurate inventory tracking.
• Perform light cleaning and maintenance of the work area.
• Label and store products accurately within the warehouse.
• Engage in manual labor as needed.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of forklift experience.
• 6+ months of warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
