Talent Acquisition Associate

Talascend is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Associate for an opportunity in Clyde, Ohio.

Overview

The Talent Acquisition Associate role involves supporting the recruitment process within a manufacturing environment by sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews to ensure a smooth hiring experience.

Responsibilities

• Screen resumes and applications based on specific guidelines to identify qualified candidates.
• Coordinate interviews, drug screens, and hiring process communications.
• Schedule candidates for new hire orientation using a standardized, scripted process.
• Maintain accurate records of all recruiting activities and candidate data.
• Engage in sourcing and screening activities, balancing time effectively between direct candidate interaction (75%) and sourcing/administration (25%).
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the talent acquisition function.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred. Bachelor's degree required for full-time employment conversion.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing talent acquisition role; 1+ year preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace tools is preferred.
• Experience with job boards and recruiting software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Strong ability to multitask and remain target-driven.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous talent acquisition experience within a manufacturing plant environment.
