Pay: $27.00–$39.00/hour, depending on experience

We are hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a well-established manufacturing operation in the Farmers Branch/Addison area.

This is a hands-on position for someone who knows how to troubleshoot equipment, diagnose mechanical problems, perform preventive maintenance, and get production machinery back up and running when something goes down.

This is an Evaluation-to-Hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right person.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial production equipment
• Respond quickly to equipment and machine breakdowns
• Perform preventive and break-fix maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical failures and make necessary repairs
• Repair or replace defective machine components and parts
• Perform equipment maintenance using blueprints, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications
• Install new equipment and relocate existing production equipment as needed
• Identify needed replacement parts, supplies, and repair materials
• Assist with continuous improvement projects
• Maintain an organized maintenance and repair work area
• Use shop equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools when needed
• Perform basic welding/fabrication tasks when required
• Follow established safety procedures and identify unsafe equipment or working conditions
• Support other members of the maintenance department as needed

We're Looking for Someone With

• 2+ years of related industrial maintenance experience OR an Associate degree with a technical focus
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Experience maintaining and repairing production or manufacturing equipment
• Preventive maintenance experience
• Ability to read and work from technical manuals, blueprints, and equipment specifications
• Familiarity with industrial tools and maintenance equipment
• Ability to work independently and react to equipment problems with a sense of urgency
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Safety-first mentality
• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience with machining, welding, fabrication, electrical systems, controls, plumbing, or facility maintenance is a plus.

Physical & Work Environment

This is an active industrial/manufacturing environment. Employees may work around moving mechanical equipment, oils, dirt, fumes, chemicals, and elevated noise levels.

Candidates must be comfortable standing and walking throughout the workday, bending, kneeling, reaching, and routinely lifting up to 40 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

$27.00–$39.00/hour , depending on experience and technical skill level.
