Job Details Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Nursing Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour days Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 Setting: Acute care, high-acuity ICU Charting System: EPIC Location: Peoria, IL Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois, or proof that the application process has been initiated Current BLS and ACLS certifications At least 1 year of ICU nursing or critical care experience Ability to interpret EKG strips confidently Experience with arterial lines and central lines Proficiency in ventilator care and titrating vasopressors Strong critical thinking skills and comfort working in a fast-paced ICU environment Ability to complete unit orientation and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team Responsibilities Provide high-quality bedside care for critically ill patients in the ICU Monitor patient status, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to clinical changes Titrate drips and manage vasoactive and cardioactive medications according to provider orders and protocol Care for patients requiring ventilatory support and advanced monitoring Work with intensivists, charge nurses, respiratory therapy, and support staff to deliver coordinated care Float to lower-acuity units as needed while maintaining safe patient assignments Document accurately in EPIC and maintain clear communication throughout the shift Contribute to a positive, patient-centered critical care environment If you are a dedicated ICU nurse ready for your next travel assignment, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills while making a difference in a respected critical care setting.
