Lab Technician

A client is looking for a Lab Technician for a contract role based out of Plano, Texas. This candidate will join a team of engineers who design and build state of the art products for a restaurant company!
This technician will oversee the following:
• General organizational and lab duties
• testing
• Maintain 5S and lab organization
• Procurement/purchasing

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience testing and troubleshooting different types of equipment (3D printers, CNCs, anything with an engine or motor)
• Able to maintain a clean lab and have organizational skills
• General knowledge of 5S and lean practices
• Procurement/purchasing experience
• Strong documentation and communication skills


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Any experience troubleshooting restaurant equipment like QSR machines
• Past experience working hands on with machining, welding, maintenance or electrical component troubleshooting
• Experience working with plumb drains, ice-maker tools, etc
