Pay Hourly Pay: $26.50 per hour Overtime Pay: $39.75 per hour Schedule: 4 days a week, 10 hour shift Sunday-Wednesday 4:30am-4:00pm Job Overview Warehouse associates work in clean, organized, and well‑run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Products handled include dry goods, and equipment used includes stand‑up forklift, SAP or WMS, and RF scanner. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) One year or more powered industrial truck experience (preferred) One year or more previous experience as a team lead (preferred) One year or more Microsoft Office experience (preferred) One year or more previous warehouse experience (preferred) Knowledge and/or advanced experience with an RF scanner (required) Valid forklift operator’s license certified (required) Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective leadership skills Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational skills Proactive approach to responsibilitiesMaintains composure under pressure Uses health and safety methods Bilingual (for Québec locations only) Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle record checks; a road test; and/or background or badge requirements of the customer for whom you are assigned. Responsibilities Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations. Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Allocate resources and organize/distribute daily work duties to team members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics. Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPIs using appropriate leadership styles and methods. Assist in providing orientation and necessary technology and tools to employees. Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse. Deal with day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading. Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operational effectiveness and service levels. Perform other duties as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ryder System, Inc.
