This position plays an important role in providing students and staff with nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is a team‑oriented individual who demonstrates strong customer service skills and takes pride in maintaining high standards of food quality and sanitation. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform food preparation tasks such as making pizza, prepping fruits and vegetables for salad bar. Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, temperature control, and portion accuracy. Safely transport pans and trays of food between workstations, ovens, freezer and walk‑in cooler. Store food properly using correct wrapping, dating, rotation, and food safety procedures. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils. Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed. Serve students and staff in a friendly, efficient manner following established service steps. Address customer concerns and communicate relevant information to the supervisor. Follow inventory procedures, cash control guidelines, and district service standards. Maintain compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations. Job Requirements Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Successful completion of all required district hiring and background check procedures.
