This assignment offers a stable schedule, start date on 10/19/2026, and a chance to work in a dynamic, high-volume trauma center.Quick Facts:Location: 520 West 10th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43210Start Date: 10/19/2026End Date: 01/18/2027Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 – 23:30)Hours/Week: 40Employment Type: ContractCertifications: CRCST or CSPDT requiredExperience: Prior experience in sterile processing with all areas of department functions, including decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, sterilized storage, OR liaison, and tracking systemsPay & Benefits:Pay package discussed upon applicationWeekly pay via direct depositComprehensive medical benefits (W-2)Robust referral bonus programPaid sick time in accordance with applicable lawsLicensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicableWhat You'll Do:Decontaminate all surgical instruments, scopes, drills, and specialized equipmentAssemble instruments for various service lines, including trauma and loaner casesOperate sterilization equipment (Sterrad and steam sterilizers)Handle high-level disinfection and scope managementManage sterile storage areasServe as an OR liaison to ensure smooth communication and workflowMaintain accurate tracking of all items using Censitrac or similar systemsFloat between OSU locations as needed, supporting busy surgical servicesWhat You Need:CRCST or CSPDT certification requiredPrior sterile processing experience, preferably in a Level One trauma settingStrong understanding of sterilization processes, OR procedures, and tracking systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocolsAbout the Assignment:This position is based at a busy Level One trauma facility, supporting surgical services with high-volume and complex cases. Your role will be vital in maintaining sterile and safe environments for patient care.
