Legal Support Specialist

Primary Responsibilities Prepare expense reports, check requests, new business memos Prepare engagement letters, mail and bind documents, create calendar entries Edit pre-bills and maintain electronic files Assist with travel arrangements and schedule meetings Assist attorneys with document production, compile documents, and prepare binders Quality‑check materials to ensure proper collation Organize physical and electronic files, create hyperlinks, and perform electronic filings Track deadlines for tax filings, compliance requirements, and court dates Assist with preparation of tax forms, filings, and supporting documents Bill for client billable work as directed Work schedule: minimum of 4 days in the office, 1 remote day; overtime flexibility required. Qualifications Strong interest in the legal profession Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong administrative and interpersonal skills; ability to handle a high‑volume desk with extreme accuracy and meticulous attention to detail Strong proofreading, solid Excel and computer skills are essential Positive self‑starter with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor Demonstrates initiative and can successfully multi‑task and prioritize to handle a very fast pace Team player with ability to adapt to changing technologies and procedures Minimum BA/BS degree required; Notary Public a plus Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act California Pay range: $65,000 – $75,000, depending on skill set and experience.
