Merit Landscape Solutions is looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Partner to support our teams across Texas. If you're an HR professional who builds trust quickly, stays organized in a fast-moving environment, and enjoys supporting field-based teams, we'd like to meet you. What You’ll Do As our HR Partner, you'll provide day-to-day HR support across five branches and help ensure our people processes run smoothly and consistently. Partner with branch leadership on recruiting, critical staffing needs, and workforce planning Support employee relations and help leaders navigate day-to-day people matters Process and support payroll activities Coordinate with Benefits Administration (BA) to support new-hire onboarding Assist with annual open enrollment and employee benefit communications Coordinate employee surveys and support follow-up initiatives Execute company-wide and local HR programs Maintain accurate employee information in ADP Prepare HR reports and maintain employee data Provide local administrative support across the Houston branches Help ensure compliance with applicable employment requirements and company policies Travel to local branches as needed to build relationships and provide hands‑on HR support What We’re Looking For You'll be a strong fit if you bring a practical, service-oriented approach to HR and feel comfortable balancing the needs of employees, managers, and the business. Qualifications include: HR Generalist, HR Partner, or comparable hands‑on HR experience Experience with recruiting, employee relations, payroll, onboarding, and HR administration Experience supporting multiple locations, branches, or field-based teams preferred Spanish‑speaking required Strong attention to detail and comfort with employee data and reporting Ability to build trusted relationships with employees and leaders at all levels Ability to work in‑office and travel locally to branches as needed Experience with ADP preferred H-2B program experience preferred Ready to grow with us?
