Merck seeks a Quality Control Specialist to perform in vivo release testing for vaccine manufacturing in Pennsylvania. The role involves laboratory procedures, rodent handling, data documentation, and compliance with established protocols to support product release to market.

Responsibilities

Perform in vivo release testing procedures supporting vaccine manufacturing
Execute general operational tasks including scheduling, assembly, and coordination
Conduct laboratory procedures in compliance with established methods and SOPs
Document study data in technical notebooks and approved electronic systems
Support facility audits and regulatory inspections

Requirements

Bachelor degree in biological sciences or related field
Rodent handling and dosing techniques
Rodent observations and understanding of normal demeanor
Rodent gross examinations and necropsy skills
Knowledge of laboratory protocols and GMP compliance
Laboratory documentation and technical writing ability
Laboratory safety and quality assurance processes

Compensation: $87,300.00 - $137,400.00 base
