Marketing Specialist / Videographer
Holland, MI | Part-Time (20 hrs/week) | $25-$30/hour

Heartland Builders is a custom home builder serving Grand Rapids, Holland, and the Lakeshore for over 28 years. We're looking for a part-time Marketing Specialist/ Videographer to keep our brand consistent, professional, and visible across every customer touchpoint.
You'll work directly with our Sales and Marketing Manager to execute day-to-day marketing -- writing, social media, photo/video, and design.
What You'll Do
Brand Voice & Content
- Serve as guardian of brand voice and visual consistency
- Write one blog post per month
- Write and send client newsletters (quarterly) and prospect emails
- Gather positive reviews and repurpose them for marketing
Social Media & Visual Content
- Manage daily posting on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Maintain Houzz and Pinterest accounts
- Film and edit short-form video for social media
- Visit homes to capture photos and project details
- Keep our photo library organized and current
Website, Design & Coordination
- Update and modify the website as needed
- Design flyers and signs on quick turnaround
- Build and maintain a content calendar
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or content creation
- Strong writer with a clear, warm voice and an eye for detail
- Experience managing business social media accounts
- Comfortable with Canva or similar design tools
- Able to shoot and edit short-form video and photos (phone or camera)
- Experience updating website content and sending email campaigns
- Highly organized, self-directed, and dependable with deadlines
- Valid driver's license + reliable transportation for job site visits
- Lives in or near Holland, Lakeshore, or Grand Rapids -- must work in person
Preferred :
- Experience in residential construction, real estate, or home design
- Familiarity with Houzz, Pinterest, and Google reviews
- Basic SEO knowledge
- Portfolio of writing, design, social media, or video work
What You'll Get
- $25-$30/hour
- Part-time, flexible schedule (20 hours/week during business hours)
- In-person role at our Holland office, with visits to job sites across Grand Rapids and the Lakeshore
- Occasional evening or weekend events (open houses, parade of homes)
- Opportunity to build a brand voice guide and photo library that stays with the company
- Direct mentorship from the Sales and Marketing Manager
- 90-day check-in and 6-month review with potential to grow hours
