Ursus is partnering with our client, an independent non-profit energy research, development, and deployment organization to identify a Senior International Accountant to join their team.



Position Summary:
The client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA International Accountant to support SAP S/4HANA Cloud releases (App version), testing, reporting, and finance process improvements. This role is primarily system-focused and requires a strong understanding of SAP finance processes, end-to-end testing, reporting layouts, and workflow optimization. Accounting experience is beneficial but secondary to SAP expertise.



Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end testing for SAP S/4HANA Cloud releases, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Create test scripts, execute testing, document results, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain SAP report layouts, variants, and output formats to support business reporting requirements.
• nalyze existing finance processes and recommend workflow improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization.
• Support finance users by troubleshooting SAP-related issues and identifying practical solutions.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external implementation partners on system enhancements and projects.
• ssist with billing, intercompany settlements, cash transfers, and related finance activities.
• Support month-end processes, account reconciliations, and accounting entries as needed.
• Document business requirements, process flows, testing results, and user procedures.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP Finance experience.
• Required: Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA Cloud experience (App version).
• Experience supporting SAP releases, upgrades, testing cycles, and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with SAP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, Fixed Assets, and Reporting.
• ccounting and international business experience preferred.
