Occupational Therapist (OT)

Position HealthPro Heritage is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist. Compensation: $37/hr for new graduates; $42/hr for experienced therapists, with increases for additional years of experience. Sign-On Bonus: $5,000.00 Responsibilities Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools. Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans, educate clients and families about functional improvements and adaptive equipment. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring legal and ethical compliance. Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' needs and facilitate access to community resources and accommodations. Qualifications Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Licensure: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible. Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills; proficiency in developing and implementing treatment plans; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a patient-centered approach. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed; able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
