Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by providing vital support as a school-based social worker in the Denver area. This full-time, onsite contract role runs from ASAP through the end of May 2027, offering opportunities to work across two local schools per assignment, with caseloads ranging from early childhood to high school.

You’ll play an instrumental role in fostering positive mental health, well-being, and academic success, helping students navigate personal and psychological challenges. Positions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with options to support students at unique school pairings throughout the area.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within school settings
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Active Colorado Special Service Provider license for School Social Worker (ages birth through 21)
• Experience providing counseling, intervention, and referral services
• Expertise communicating with families, staff, and outside agencies
• Must complete a district background check and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group counseling to support student success
• Identify, assess, and respond to barriers affecting academic performance, attendance, behavior, or socialization
• Create and implement treatment plans and offer workshop opportunities
• Refer students and families to appropriate community resources and services
• Maintain case files and documentation, tracking student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop holistic support strategies
• Committed to serving the full academic year as a valued member of the educational team
