Executive Banquet Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar leadership role; luxury hospitality background strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a culinary team
- Effective management, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Culinary degree preferred
Executive Banquet Chef Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with Delphi or similar event management software is a plus
Executive Banquet Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the banquet kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences
- Oversee and coordinate all banquet events with creativity and precision
- Design innovative menus and elevate the guest amenity program
- Partner with restaurant, sales, marketing, and catering teams to ensure flawless event delivery and guest satisfaction
- Manage food requisitions, inventory, and food costs in alignment with departmental budgets
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as luxury service benchmarks
- Mentor and develop culinary colleagues, fostering a supportive and high-performing team environment
