Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable contract, Payroll Specialist to be 100% onsite in San Francisco. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who is passionate about accuracy, compliance, and providing exceptional support to employees.What You'll DoAs a Payroll Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payrolls accurately and on schedule.Review and validate payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and other pay adjustments.Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy within payroll systems.Respond to employee payroll inquiries regarding earnings, deductions, taxes, and time reporting.Process payroll-related transactions, including new hires, terminations, promotions, bonuses, and leave of absence changes.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies.Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Support payroll tax reporting and year-end activities, including W-2 preparation and audits.Partner with Human Resources and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and special projects.Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve operational efficiency.** If you're interested in this position, please apply to this position and contact Anabel Lopez-Horta at anabel.lopez-horta - at - roberthalf - .com with your word resume and reference job ID# Payroll Specialist **
