Field Service & Production Technician – DIRECT HIRE | $32–$40/hr. + Travel Pay
NYCOR is hiring a Field Service & Production Technician to build, install, and service high-precision CNC equipment used in the two-piece can manufacturing industry. This role combines hands-on machine building with international travel (25–50%) . When not traveling, you’ll work day shift in the shop.
Field Service & Production Technician - $32–$40/hr. + Travel Pay
What You’ll Do
- Build CNC grinding machines from the ground up (400+ components)
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembl y
- Troubleshoot and debug equipment during build and in the field
- Travel worldwide to install , maintain, and repair customer machines
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues onsite
- Document service work and coordinate schedules with customers
- Track inventory and work orders
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of field service and/or equipment assembly (CNC preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and with customers
- Valid driver’s license and passport
- Basic computer skills
