VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician in our Internal Medicine Department to work at our well-established, AAHA-accredited, 18-doctor practice in Mesa, Arizona.

Location: 1648 N Country Club Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201

\n

Schedule: Full-Time, 4 days, 10-hour shift

\n We are looking for qualified, experienced Technicians to share in a growing, exciting, fast-paced environment in our internal medicine department. The candidate MUST be able to work weekends. Previous IM experience HIGHLY preferred. Previous veterinary technician experience is a MUST. Most importantly, must be client-oriented and have high customer service skills. \n

\n We are a 24-hour emergency/specialty practice looking for Technicians with positive personalities, whose attributes reflect attention-to-detail, self-motivation, compassion, and reliability.   Physical examinations and patient assessment

  Anesthesia monitoring

  Surgical preparation and assisting

  Dentistry

  Venipuncture

  Catheter placement

  Pharmacy

  Patient recovery

  Client Communication

\n QUALIFICATIONS:

\n

\n
• \n

  Must have documented previous experience

\n
• \n

  Hold a current CVT license (preferred)

\n
• \n

  Flexibility in hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays

\n
• \n

  Customer service skills

\n
• \n

  Working knowledge of computers

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication skills

\n
• \n

  Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
