About the job Veterinary Technician – Chandler Small Animal Clinic | Chandler, AZ Full-Time | 4x10 Schedule | $18-$22/hr Chandler Small Animal Clinic has proudly served the Chandler, AZ community since 1975. We are a full-service, non-corporate animal hospital offering high-quality medical, surgical, dental, and preventive care. Our mission is simple: deliver exceptional care while fostering a positive, connected team culture built on trust and transparency. About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Veterinary Technician who brings both clinical skill and a team-first attitude. You will play an essential role in patient care and clinic operations, supporting our veterinarians and ensuring that each pet and pet parent receives an excellent experience. Key Responsibilities: Assist in surgeries, dental procedures, and medical exams Monitor anesthesia and provide surgical prep and recovery care Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters Maintain accurate records and use PIMS software Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients Foster a respectful, positive team culture focused on shared success What We’re Looking For: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician Must be proficient in venipuncture and surgical prep/monitoring Skilled in dentistry, internal medicine, and preventative care Familiarity with PIMS software preferred Excellent communication and client customer service skills Professional, detail-oriented, and team-driven $18.00-$22.00 per hour (based on experience) 401(k) with Matching up to 6% Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off / Sick Time / Paid Holidays CE allowance and professional development support Supportive leadership and growth-focused environment Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) 4x10 schedule with rotating Saturdays No overnight or on-call shifts Chandler Small Animal Clinic is an equal opportunity employer.
