School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Denver, Colorado

This full-time contract position focuses on supporting an intensive pre-school classroom, making a lasting impact in early childhood communication and development. The assignment runs approximately from 5/19/26, offering the opportunity to build relationships with students and staff throughout the school year.


Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active SLP licensure and Colorado Department of Education certification
• SLP-CCC preferred, though exceptional SLP-CF candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Familiarity with conducting assessments, providing direct therapy, and tracking student progress
• Prior exposure to working with preschool-aged children, ideally in a school-based setting
• Preference for candidates with ELL training or an ESL/Linguistically Diverse Education Endorsement
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to preschool students in an intensive classroom setting at Riverdale Elementary School
• Assist in supervising SLPAs as needed
• Develop and manage IEPs to ensure individual learning goals are identified and tracked
• Complete assessments, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in team meetings
• Closely monitor progress toward measurable student outcomes
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and developmental growth
