Employment Type: Full Time Location: Valencia, CA Reports to: Chief Estimator Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Experience/Training High School Diploma or GED 2-5 years of experience within the construction field or equivalent field experience Proficient in reading and understanding construction drawings Ability to gather, calculate, and compile takeoff data for bid use Effective oral and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to prioritize and multi-task Responsibilities Review plans, general conditions, schedules, scopes of work, site logistics and other exhibits Prepare organized and complete takeoffs Request and obtain quotes for all scope from multiple vendors and sub-contractors Enters takeoff information and quotes into estimating software Analyze alternate means and methods to determine value engineering suggestions Draft proposal documents Additional Skills Knowledge of plants and irrigation systems Proficient with On-Screen Takeoff software Construction management background or higher education on is a bonus Contact: Jason Strauss View email address on click.appcast.io 28042 Avenue Stanford, Unit E, Valencia, CA 91355 Phone View phone number on click.appcast.io Job Type: Full-time Pay: $48,000 - $58,000 per year Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Oakridge Landscape, Inc.
