We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:****Job Description Summary:**## Position Responsibilities* Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence* Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients* Communicate effectively with Patient and other care providers on treatment team* Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development* Navigate Financial assistance Programs and compliance standards to assist patients with difficulties* Collect data from available sources to assist with Prior authorizations and denials.* Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.* Provides and demonstrates expertise in a specialized area of pharmacy practice (operational and/or clinical).* Leads the training and mentorship of pharmacists, pharmacy students, residents, technicians, nurses and physicians* Leads in preceptorship of pharmacy students and/or residents* Effectively and proactively intervenes in conflicts between pharmacy and medical staff regarding drug therapy issue resolutions.* Complies with all regulatory standards. Works with the Pharmacy Director and Operations/Clinical Manager to identify and develop processes to meet or exceed all regulatory standards. Participates in quality and regulatory reviews and audits.* Assists in implementation of clinical and operational process changes.* Assists in providing feedback with staff performance evaluations* Acts as manager in charge as assigned* Leads the development, implementation, and monitoring of pharmacy operations initiatives (operational/clinical)* Develops and reviews pharmacy policies and procedures## Qualifications* Registered Pharmacist in the State of Florida WITH required Board Certification for a Pharm D.* Board Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.* Pharm.D. from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy or B.S.
