This role goes beyond transactional hiring, emphasizing strong relationship building with hiring managers and candidates as top priority. Success in the role requires cultivating partnerships with schools, engaging in the community, long-term success of hires, and effectively and efficiently leveraging recruitment tools and processes to execute Lithia & Driveway's People & Culture strategy.Location: Virginia (regional travel required)Compensation Range: $50,000-$75,000, a typical starting range of $55,000-65,000. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.What You'll DoHiring Manager Partnership:Partner with hiring managers to define selection criteria for open positions and select the best candidates for hireCollaborate with hiring managers across various departments to ensure a seamless and effective recruitment processCoach hiring managers on effective interviewing, candidate feedback, and selection processesProvide hiring managers with detailed summaries on all screened candidatesRecruitment:Source talent through active and passive methods, including events, databases, referrals, and direct outreachScreen all candidates for culture-fit, quality, and long-term potentialEnsure a positive candidate experience through clear and timely communication from sourcing through onboardingWhen possible, prioritize hiring culturally aligned talent over experience and trainable skillsCollaborate with Talent Acquisition Managers to proactively anticipate internal movement and plan for future openingsMaintain long-term relationships with high potential hires ensuring role satisfactionPipeline, Early Career, and Community:Recruit and align high potential candidates to early career pipeline programs including internships, rotational programs, and technician apprenticeshipsBuild and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needsCollaborate with store leadership to convert early career talent into hires and identify opportunities to leverage pipeline programsBuild and maintain partnerships with schools and other market partnersRepresent the organization at career fairs, recruitment events, and other community outreach initiativesWhat You'll Bring:Experience in high-volume, full-cycle recruiting (automotive or retail a plus)Strong ability to build relationships and influence at all levelsA proactive, results-driven mindset with a sense of urgencyExcellent communication and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systemsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related fieldWe offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family, including:Competitive payMedical, Dental and Vision PlansPaid HolidaysPTO: 80 hours front-loaded on day 1Short and Long-Term DisabilityPaid Life Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanLithia Learning CenterVehicle Purchase DiscountsWellness ProgramsFor a more detailed view, visit: School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
