Openings as of 7/7/2026 Position Substitute Teacher – Westfield Washington Schools. Substitute teachers can manage the days of the week they are available to work through an automated absence management system; the system is accessible online or via touch‑tone phone. Pay Rates Full Day: $85.00 ½ Day (4 hours or less): $42.50 Full Day pay rates are adjusted to $85.00 on certain days before and after breaks. Substitute teachers earn a bonus incentive of $70.00 for every ten full days subbed each semester. Requirements High School Diploma A substitute teacher permit or a valid Indiana teaching license Minimum of 21 years of age to substitute teach at Westfield High School (commensurate work experience may be substituted) Must obtain an Indiana teacher’s license or substitute teacher’s permit within 15 days of the hire date. The license costs $15.00 and is valid for three years. A copy of the license must be provided to the Sub Coordinator within 15 days.
