Senior Acquisitions Manager | Los Angeles Area The Company Our client is a fast-growing, privately held real estate development and construction organization with a long-term focus on residential projects across the West Coast. The leadership team is well capitalized, has a clear growth plan, and is investing heavily in its people and its pipeline. The Role This is a high-visibility leadership seat. You will own the deal pipeline end to end, from identifying opportunities through underwriting, negotiation, and closing. You will work directly with senior leadership and help set the criteria that guide where the company invests next. Responsibilities Build and run the acquisitions strategy and a consistent flow of qualified opportunities Cultivate relationships with brokers, property owners, lenders, and capital partners Underwrite and negotiate land, portfolio, and larger-scale transactions Structure partnerships and work closely with finance, development, and legal through closing Prepare and present investment recommendations to executive leadership Guide post-closing handoff and early-stage strategy for each asset Manage and develop a small team of analysts and associates Represent the company at industry events and in the investor and lending community Qualifications 7+ years in real estate acquisitions, investments, or development A record of sourcing and closing significant transactions Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and diligence skills Strong negotiation and presentation skills Experience leading people and collaborating across teams Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree a plus Compensation Competitive base salary, performance bonus, and ownership opportunity, along with a full benefits package including health coverage and a retirement plan.
