Ensure the usability and accessibility of web applications for a wide range of users. Build and launch new capabilities and products that bring significant value to customers internal and external Uphold our high engineering standards. Elevate quality and engineering efficiency within our codebases. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization including product, design, and other engineering functions. Mentor engineers earlier in their technical career to help them grow. Explore new technologies and enrich our technological stack. Actively participate in technical discussions and deep dives with architectural groups. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)5+ years of hands-on web application development Strong understanding and experience with React, Redux, and design systems. Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure the reliability and robustness of the applications. Write high quality production code that is tested thoroughly, supported by clear documentation and has appropriate production observability Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile development environment. Experience working independently and drive features or components throughout the development lifecycle Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Knowledge of software design patterns, OO, data structures, and algorithms. What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) Strong product focus and acumen. Experience with IoT stack is a big plus A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering preferredCompensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The salary range for this role is $153,200 - $269,200. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as the geography of the selected candidate.Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.Benefits: GM offers a variety of health and wellbeing benefit programs.
