MRI Technologist

Responsibilities As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients. Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols. Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner. Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images. Guide patients through the exam process, responding to questions and concerns. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients. Safeguard patient property, patient health information, and on‑site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, respecting boundaries and cultural sensitivities. Establish and nurture cooperative working relationships with team members and stakeholders. Professional Qualities Genuinely passionate about patient care and able to exercise sound judgment. Effective professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect toward patients, guests, and colleagues. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize work with a structured approach. Required Credentials ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification. State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (if applicable). BLS certification. Venipuncture certificate (may be required depending on state regulations).
