Warehouse Material Handler

Production Material Converter
This individual will convert raw materials into press/finishing ready material for the production department.
This is a 1st shift position and will work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.
- Must learn properties and characteristics of material used by production to visually differentiate the difference of material families.
- Operates assigned machinery to convert raw material into production ready material in roll or sheet form.
- Understands priority of material request to process material pick tickets in order of importance to the production floor
- Cleans work area on a daily basis moves empty containers and pallets to storage area to keep area free from clutter and trash.
Requirements
- Good memorization and mathematical skills
- Good communication skills
- Good decision making skills
- Good problem solving skill
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
- Able to handle stress, pressure and deadlines
- Attends work regularly to ensure good production flow
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures while performing job duties
- Job involves standing or walking most of the shift
- Exposure to noise, heat and fumes
Salary Description 16.00 hourly
