Maintenance TechnicianWhy Work With Us:Pay: Starting rate is $28.00- $37.00/hour; based on experienceHours: Monday – Friday, 12:00 pm -8:00 pm, Overtime available as neededBenefits Include:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401 (k) with company matchPaid holidaysPaid time offLife and disability insuranceGrowth opportunities within Majestic SteelWhat You Will Work On:As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the reliability of production equipment by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.Responsibilities include:Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on steel processing equipmentPerform preventive maintenance on machinery, motors, conveyors, and production equipmentReplace or repair components such as bearings, belts, motors, and gearboxesAssist with basic electrical troubleshooting (motors, controls, sensors)Perform fabrication and welding when neededWork safely using lockout/tagout proceduresSupport production teams during equipment breakdownsIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiencyWhat We're Looking For:Experience maintaining or repairing industrial or manufacturing equipmentMechanical troubleshooting experienceComfortable using hand tools and power toolsAbility to read basic mechanical diagrams or equipment manualsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule and travel occasionallyWhat Makes You Stand Out:5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferredExperience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsWelding or fabrication experienceBasic electrical troubleshooting, including motors, sensors, and controlsFamiliarity with PLC-controlled equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsExperience maintaining steel processing equipment such as slitters or cut-to-length linesExperience maintaining forklift or other material handling equipmentBasic proficiency with MS Office and Windows-based computer applicationsMajestic Steel is America's domestic supply chain provider for rolled steel, and we're ready to tackle America's housing, infrastructure, job, and sustainability challenges now and into the future.
