Duties: Responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial ammonia (NH₃), commercial refrigeration, and commercial air conditioning systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues; perform system start-ups and shutdowns; maintain compressors, pumps, valves, evaporators, condensers, and associated components. Ensure compliance with safety standards, EPA/PSM/RMP regulations, and company procedures. Complete accurate service documentation and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams to keep systems running safely, efficiently, and reliably. Responsibilities: Assist with on-call rotation. Obtain or maintain RETA CIRO/CARO certification. Obtain or maintain NATE certification. Complete work orders and time card daily. Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections with documentation to ensure reliability and compliance. Maintain compliance with PSM, RMP, IIAR, and OSHA safety standards. Document service work accurately and complete required reports on time. Communicate safety concerns clearly to customers and internal teams. Participate in emergency service calls and support plant operations as needed. Mentor junior technicians and promote best practices in safety and workmanship. Benefits: Company service vehicle.
