Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical plans for patients
• Provide crucial support during surgery, including preparing the OR, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing instruments
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge procedures, and patient education

Educational Background

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical focus greatly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
