The 4‑Star Full Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis. These allow for the unique experience that you can only get at this resort. Hourly Rate: $16.00–$18 per hour commensurate with experience. Position Overview The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred. Job Functions & Responsibilities Complete all pre‑cleaning duties, including but not limited to guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen. Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting. Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment. Keep all closets clean and neat. Replenish chemical bottles. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms. Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms. Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy. Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards. Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods. Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. Ensure overall guest satisfaction. Perform other duties as requested by management. Qualifications Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to stand during entire shift. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. Refined verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
