The hospital has a full range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency gastroenterology services. GI Division faculty members are also responsible for medical student and resident teaching.The Gastroenterology Division is currently comprised of 10 gastroenterologists with diverse areas of clinical expertise. The Division is hoping to add additional expertise in the areas of inflammatory bowel disease, motility, and in advanced endoscopy. The ideal candidate for the new position would be focused in one of these areas but also have an interest in doing some general GI practice and teaching. Candidates just completing fellowship training are encouraged to apply, as well as more experienced candidates.The selected gastroenterologist would receive a faculty appointment as an Instructor or Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical school commensurate with experience and qualifications.
