Record Center Specialist 1

Our client, a leading organization in document management and storage solutions, is seeking a Record Center Specialist 1 to join their team. As a Record Center Specialist 1, you will be part of the operations support team, contributing to efficient processing and handling of physical records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Record Center Specialist 1

Location: Norfolk, VA

Pay Range: $17.81

Shift: Other (08:00:AM - 05:00:PM)

What's the Job?

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials
• Manually lift, carry, and arrange storage boxes weighing from 10 to over 100 lbs
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
• Read labels, track orders, and determine the location of boxes using proprietary computer systems
• Load and shrink wrap pallets, and load pallets onto trucks manually and with aids

What's Needed?

• Ability to stand, kneel, squat, reach, and bend for extended periods
• Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English
• Experience operating hand trucks, pallet jacks, and ladders is preferred
• Physical stamina and attention to safety procedures
