Position: Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist
Location: Dayton, OH
Job Type: Full-time

An expanding cardiology group in the Dayton region is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced cardiac disease. This position offers a mix of heart failure subspecialty care and general cardiology within a high-acuity environment that supports advanced cardiac therapies.

Manage patients with acute decompensated heart failure and cardiomyopathies
Evaluate patients for LVAD and cardiac transplant pathways
Provide care for advanced mechanical circulatory support cases in collaboration with tertiary specialists
Maintain involvement in general cardiology services as part of practice scope
Approximately 75% advanced heart failure care / 25% collaborative care at a partnering high-acuity cardiac center

Program Features

Full-spectrum cardiac care including open-heart and thoracic surgery
High-volume cardiac procedures including TAVR, ECMO, EP services, and coronary interventions
Dedicated cardiovascular ICU and heart/vascular inpatient units
Air and ground transport support for critical care patients

Qualifications

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology
Eligible for Ohio medical licensure
U.S. trained
