Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Miami, FL. The role is based in a high-acuity pediatric and adult respiratory unit within a Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, offering critical care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Location: Miami, FL
• Position Description: The Respiratory Therapist provides treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies such as high flow devices, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and more. The role supports a multidisciplinary approach and collaborates closely with healthcare team members.
• Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist (RT) PEDS specialty, with current acute care hospital RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) experience of 2 years, and certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS. Must have current NICU/PICU experience, current Meditech software experience preferred, and be based in Miami, FL.
• Schedule: Day Shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate a team-oriented, patient-focused approach and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment. The position may require coverage for regular adult floors, and a critical thinker with excellent patient care skills is preferred.
