Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you'll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia physical therapy license is required prior to the start of the assignment.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC is required or may be required by the clinic.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience. Client prefers candidates with prior outpatient caseload management.
• Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting in compliance with clinic, state, and payer requirements.
• Proven ability to provide discipline-specific delegation and direction for therapy services and to design functional treatment programs focused on return to community activities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling, materials handling, infection control, and fall prevention procedures.
• Ability to participate in student supervision and precepting as assigned is preferred.
• Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements. Adherence to professional codes of conduct is required.

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Duration: 13 Week assignment.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other clinic locations as needed.
