Job Description Job Description Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour Reports To: Administration Team Leader Scheduled Hours: 32 Job Titles Supervised: None Salary: $22-$24 per hour Benefits Eligible: Yes MY ONE THING Oversee bookkeeping and finance support, providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES The primary responsibilities of the Bookkeeper include, but are not limited to the following: Accounts Payable Credit Card Management Budget Cycle Support Reconciliation/Month -End Respond to Giver questions Provide staff support with ministry budgets or transactions Weekly cash count and giving processing Wire Transfers Annual filings Check Printing Journal Entries in QuickBooks Other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years experience with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, QuickBooks experience is a plus Must have high attention to detail and accuracy Must be self-motivated, dependable, and strong critical thinking skills. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with staff Due to access to financial records, this position requires a high degree of confidentiality VALUES At VRL we make disciples who make disciple-makers for Jesus.
