Concrete Project Manager

My client is a leading general contractor specializing in large scale projects. They are committed to delivering exceptional concrete solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Concrete Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of self-perform concrete packages. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from pre-construction planning to final project closeout. RESPONSIBILITIES Pre-Construction: Review project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and develop effective strategies. Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Procure necessary materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration. Construction: Oversee daily construction activities to ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Manage project teams, including subcontractors, to maximize productivity and efficiency. Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks, taking proactive measures to mitigate them. Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality and compliance with project specifications. Post-Construction: Coordinate project closeout activities, including final inspections, punch list completion, and documentation. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Minimum of two years of experience in concrete construction, with a strong focus on high-rise commercial projects. Proven track record of successful project delivery, including experience managing complex projects. In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in construction management software, such as Procore or Primavera. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
