Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position begins ASAP and extends through June 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact over a full school year and beyond. With a full-time schedule from 8:45am to 2:30pm, you'll support students as a valued Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
• Experience working in a school or pediatric environment preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with IEP implementation and supportive documentation
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language interventions under the guidance of a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist in assessing students’ communication needs and contribute to progress monitoring
• Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and collect relevant data
• Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to foster student growth
• Prepare materials and activities tailored to each student's goals
• Maintain accurate session records as required by school and district policies
